"Tell your statistics to shut up"
There are 243 combinations of results for the final five Albany and Bridgeport games.
Only 21 of them -- 8.6 percent -- result in the Bridgeport Sound Tigers making the playoffs.

Statistics are meaningless. Heart is everything. On Wednesday night this team had no heart so now the stats are against them. If they play with no heart tonight then the weekend games will be for nothing.
The Islanders played with all heart last week and won four in a row. Unfortunately, they took Bridgeport's heart with them in doing so.

Any word on Tamby's return?

Yeah, what's going on with Jeff? Didn't see him last night and didn't see him on the scratch list either...

Nope, Tambellini remains up, which would appear to make it regular recall and no longer emergency. No one I've talked to expects him back.

What a way to go out! I was at the game and there was some effort from the usual guys like Regier and the ECHL callups but some of the guys like Comeau and Malec were just flat and invisible most of the time. Just my observation! Mole kept us in the game and is a star in my book. Hope the guys give us a couple of wins the rest of the weekend and finish the season with a good note.
