So why not wait until after these 2 games to send him down, so we play with a full team? Strange!!

Because the people running this team have absolutely no idea what they're doing. I'm all for the kid getting PT. Much better then hearing him as a scratch each night, but if we had a guy who was even possibly hurt (which Nilsson has been for the past week or two) then why take chances just yet? We're a horrible playing team, coached by a guy who's got no idea what he's doing, run by a big club that simply doesn't care what happens down here. No wonder no one goes to the games. Win games and they will come.
