Pregame radio

With all the money Mayor Mike has, he could at least buy some engineers for WPRX-AM 1120. North of Waterbury, the salsa signal from Bristol bled all over WNEW WBBR. (Unless it was my car radio, in which case... with all the money Mayor Mike has, he could at least buy me a new car radio.) Regardless, how about Wade Dubielewicz?

Anyway, here's your lineups, (edit: scratch Jamie Fraser and newbie Darick Bouchard, and Nokelainen is in). And given that I saw two cars with BST Booster Club stickers on the way up and met another carload at the rest area on I-90, there might be some juice in the crowd:

LINEUPS

D: Berry ('A')-Gervais

  • Who's Darick Bouchard?

What about MacDonald? You can't get Fata out of this lineup fast enough for me. I can't believe we've got to watch Fata play while Fraser sits.

Far as I'm concerned they can sit Fata and his penalty box buddy Berry every night and get MacDonald and Fraser in there.

  • No Way! Fata has stepped it up for this team all year and certainly deserves the spot over Fraser. Fata is hard-nosed and a leader. I like Fraser but not as much as Fata.

  • I really like it when Fata is taking dumb penalties because he can't control himself (not to mention he can't play the game that well) and leaving us shorthanded all the time. That's my favorite part of Fata's game.

The last thing you can call him is a leader. Just because a guy is willing to fight (and usually get his butt kicked) doesn't make him a leader. Leaders are guys who don't take bad penalties and leave their team in trouble.

  • Fata may fight a lot, I would certainly not say he gets his butt kicked; he usually kicks some ass at least. And he has definitly improved this year or they wouldn't have called him up.
Berry only recently started fighting, he didn't at the beginning of the year that I remember.
Fraser has some good skates but can be inconsistent and doesn't get physical enough.
I like all three of them, they all have pros and cons. So does any player, ya can't please everyone.
