Kroggerific

Sam Weinman of the Journal News blogs that the Rangers have plucked Jason Krog off waivers.

So of the 2001-02 Sound Tigers, there are now as many in the Rangers organization (Krog, Valiquette, Gordie Clark) as there are in the Islanders (DiPietro, Hunter, Garrett Timms)...

  • Only thing worse for me would be to see Raffi Torres in Ranger Blue. Or Hartford whatever.

  • Has to clear waivers (and it wouldn't shock me if Atlanta grabbed him back). I sure hope he doesn't end up in Harbor Yard (wearing the wrong color).

  • Ditto to Andy, with the note that, if Atlanta is then the only team to claim him, they can immediately send (throw) him to the Wolves. (And if he then showed up in the other colors, that's tolerable, right, Andy?)

  • In Harbor Yard he is welcome to wear white (with creamsicle orange) or a dark jersey with a wolve (but not a wolf) on it. Either way is perfectly fine by me, but I would seriously prefer the second option for THE REMATCH!!
