Go a level deeper: Play around with the remaining schedule, figure out some probabilities based around each team's home/road winning percentages, and you get this:

There's an awful lot of Binghamton, Syracuse and Springfield left on Albany's schedule. That's up to 12 points right there.

Worth noting is that Bridgeport's loss clinched the first AHL playoff spot for Norfolk. Bridgeport can only tie the Admirals, and and Saturday's Norfolk win clinched the season series.

Wondering if only looking at points % w/ Coll, Comeau, Nok and Nolan in the line would there be a change putting the bst on top.

Actually, if you go back to Feb. 16 (when Comeau got hurt) and use the .559 from after that game, it's a virtual dead heat, Bridgeport 83.6, Albany 83.6. I'm sure an Albany fan can find someplace to go to help the Rats out, though.

We ought to stop worrying about stats that are impossible to predict and start saying our prayers that Ricky looks ok playing tonight and that maybe Comeau, Colliton, Rourke, and Nolan can come back and contribute. I think the ECHL guys have really done a bigtime job, but let's face it, without our core team, we're not going to the playoffs.
